Spirituality in the 21st Century featuring Michael Morwood – 03/26/10

Prairiewoods annual event, Spirituality in the 21st Century, will feature Michael Morwood speaking on "God, Jesus, Prayer and Ritual in the New Universe Story," Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27.
Morwood has 40 years experience in retreat, education, parish and adult faith education ministries in Australia. For the past 10 years, he has lectured in the US, Canada and Ireland. He is interested in helping Christians examine what they believe and why they believe it, what they imagine and why they imagine the way they do. His first book, "God is Near," was an immediate best seller throughout Australia. The book, "Is Jesus God? Finding Our Faith and Praying a New Story" won an award from Spirituality & Health magazine as one of the best spiritual books of 2004.
The conference begins Friday, March 26, 7-9 p.m. Cost: $15 pre-registered or $20 at the door.
Saturday, March 27, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost: $40 pre-registered or $50 at the door.
