This seasonal kitchen workshop explores practical and inspiring ways to cook with the vegetables, herbs, fruits, and abundance emerging from Iowa gardens and local farms during the early fall season. Participants will learn simple ways to use fresh seasonal produce while building confidence in seasonal cooking at home.

The workshop includes recipes, tastings, meal ideas, and helpful tips for prepping and storing fresh produce and herbs. Seasonal ingredients may include squash, apples, root vegetables, herbs, greens, and other early fall produce depending on availability. Participants will also explore seasonal eating, local food systems, and simple ways to transition cooking routines into the cooler months.
