Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, Sept. 28 from 1-3 pm Gather your family, friends and favorite animal companions and head to the annual Blessing of the Animals. Please bring your pets on leashes or in carriers, their clean-up bags, and lawn chairs or blankets. We’ll have this free event rain or shine (indoor if needed). The event features a pet parade at 1:15 p.m., followed by blessings at 1:30 p.m. by Nancy Hoffman, FSPA, and Rev. Jean Sullivan. The Cedar Valley Humane Society will also be on-site accepting donations and sharing information.

Your Other Lunch Option (YOLO)

Yolo (Your Other Lunch Option) is a wholesome lunch opportunity here at Prairiewoods. Enjoy a freshly made from scratch meal prepared by our on-staff chefs. It’s an amazing way to try new foods, meet new friends, and enjoy a delicious lunch for only $15!

Woodland Wednesday

Woodland Wednesday is a volunteer opportunity dedicated to caring for the woodlands at Prairiewoods through activities like planting trees and restoring natural habitats. It offers a hands-on way to support the environment and help local ecosystems thrive. Volunteering not only benefits the land but also provides a meaningful way to connect with nature and community!
