Prairiewoods is sponsored by Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, a Catholic community in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Perpetual adoration is an FSPA sacred tradition dating back to Aug. 1, 1878, when the sisters began praying 24/7. Today, sisters and prayer partners continue perpetual adoration in the Adoration Chapel located inside St. Rose Convent 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. As FSPA continues its enduring promise, the sisters invite everyone to pray and live in adoration from any location at any time.
