Prairiewoods Call for Proposals
July–December 2024

Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center is a place of peace and transformation. Each year we serve nearly ten-thousand people seeking to deepen their relationship with self, others, Earth and the Source of all Being. To continue to offer relevant and transformative programming, we are seeking proposals for retreats and programs for July through December 2024. We seek offerings that align with Prairiewoods’ mission, Franciscan values, and one or more of Prairiewoods’ three focus areas:

Ecology—care for the Earth, regenerative practices and the interconnectedness of all Creation.

Holistic Health—healing for mind, body and spirit. May include: body modalities, mindfulness practices, guided meditation, relaxation techniques, or meditative movement that improve health and well-being.

Spirituality—individual’s sense of connection to and search for something larger than one’s self, sacred meaning and purpose in life.

We seek proposals that incorporate creative exploration and expression through the arts in any form. Offerings may be in person or virtual.

If you would like to propose a program or retreat, please complete our program proposal form below and submit it online no later than Feb. 9. We will review all the proposals and let you know the status of your proposal no later than March 1, 2024.

The following criteria will guide our decision-making:

Alignment with Prairiewoods’ mission
Alignment with Prairiewoods’ key audiences
Indicators of success—such as number of past participants, qualifications and experience of facilitators
Balance of offerings across focus areas and modalities
Cost

You are welcome to submit a proposal at any time, however, the primary review cycles will occur in February and August.
