As you may know, we coined the phrase PanDeepening as we work to see this unique moment in history as an opportunity to go more deeply into all our relationships and interconnections. Each day, we post activities, reflections and thoughts intended to help our community thrive, find ways to hold hope and become our own calm center in the storm that rages around us.
And we’ve heard from many of you who you want to go even deeper. You want to be in relationship with other people connected to Prairiewoods during this time of uncertainty and isolation.
Now we are setting aside an hour each Thursday from 4-5 p.m. to meet on Zoom (an online meeting platform) for Go Deeper Thursdays. You are invited to join other Prairiewoods people for some healthy and necessary conversation in this time of PanDeepening. This is an opportunity to relieve stress and connect at a deeper level.
Yesterday afternoon we began this new series with a brief check-in and then talked about how our spiritual awareness and practice during this time of upheaval is shifting. And what an amazingly deep conversation it was! 43 people joined our little Zoom call and shared so much wisdom, transformation and love.
As we discussed, Parker Palmer writes of the “tragic gap” between what has been and what is becoming, and we’re currently living in that gap. This is a time for humanity to stumble, fall and get up anew! We spoke of the shifts we are experiencing, from anxiety, isolation and bleakness to reaching out, inclusivity and gathering the goodness of our lives. It was an hour filled with hope and promise.
Please join us next Thursday or any Thursday you are available. Grab a beverage, relax and let’s do this together!
